    Form Filtering

I'm currently putting together a Trading Card Database to catalogue my collection and it's becoming a pain to having to scroll through set's/franchises that aren't relevant to what i'm adding, is there an easier way of doing this?

I'm quite new to using Access and I was wondering if it was possible to have forms filter out irrellevant information based on preivious options selected? I.E. If I selected option 2 from a drop down selection, any other drop down selections should be relevant to the first selection.

It would be helpful if you would tell us about your collection stitching together what you mean by
set's/franchises that aren't relevant to what i'm adding
. People here are quite good at guessing and deciphering posts, but none are clairvoyant. So to help us help you, we need some more info.

You may be dealing with Cascading Comboboxes, but more info would help.

An example or two should help.

Welcome and good luck with your project.

Sorry if the original post was a bit vague. I wasn't sure how much information was needed.

Basically what i'm hoping to be able to do is that if a card belongs to Pokemon, any sets (collections that the card is associated with) that belong under the franchise of Pokemon will appear rather than any sets that have been added in general (Magic/YUgioh/etc). And would change based on whatever the franchise selected was, I.E. Magic the Gathering.

But I do believe what you linked is what I need.
