Hello,
I am experiencing 2 issues that I find perplexing and I am hoping someone might be able to explain to me why they might be happening. I am using Access 2013.
I have a form that is made up of 4 separate sub forms. Each form has only 1 thing in common; they all display data for the same client and only 1 client at a time. They each are based on a different table and are not in any way associated/linked to the other sub forms. The sub forms, in order from top to bottom, display Plans, Locations, Elections and Notes.
Issue 1: Intermittantly it only allows 1 sub form to be filtered at a time. For example, if we filter the plans then we can't filter the locations until the plans are unfiltered. I am unsure why it sometimes works but then a few minutes later it wont.
Issue 2: It only allows 1 column in a sub form to be filtered at a time. For example, on the Elections sub form if I first filter by status (which would be Active, COBRA or Retiree) I can't then also filter by the elections (say I want see only options that exclude dental).
Clarifying the filtering. I say that I can't filter but to be precise, the first filter I can select the items by checking/unchecking the boxes but in the additional columns I would have to select Text Filter and type in the exact text as no check boxes are available on the menu.
Thanks
