Do all end users need to have Access installed on their computers?

Hi all!

If an Access database application needs to be used at remote locations do the end users at the remote locations need to have Access installed on their computers?

I know the databases can be split into front end and back end but I don't know if the end users would be able to access the application via a network if they do not have Access installed on their computers.

Install Access RunTime on computers that do not have full Access - it is a free download from Microsoft.
