    corrupt fieldwidth

    Hello all,

It is cold in South africa at the moment!!

I am using access 2016 from ms Office 365.

Often when I reopen an .accdb and display the table in datasheet view I am finding that
the field width has changed to some long length like 155,755 (one hundred and fifty five thousand)

At the same time shft/ctrl/rt arrow will not move the cursor to the righthand edge of the sheet??

where can i look to try and find the solution??

    Hoping that someone can help

    regards fred

While the table is open, on the DATASHEET ribbon tab, near the center/bottom, click "More", "Field Width", "Best Fit".

You also can position the cursor on the right line of the field header column so the vertical symbol with left/right arrow shows, then left-mouse double-click.

sounds like the same problem you had in your other thread. You never said whether the various solutions suggested worked or not
