    Noob help pls

    HI all
I'm new to the forum and to access and have some real noob question

I keep getting Error 3164 whenever I try to fill a subform
I created a simple database of names and family names

    I have 3 tables
tblPN - 2 columns ID and PN(short text)
tblFN - 2 columns ID and FN(short text)
tblPNFN - 3 columns ID , FN (integer) and PV (integer)
I created the connections from tblPN ID to tblFNPN PN and from tblFN ID to tblFNPN FN
I checked with a v the 1st option of integrity when making the connections
I than created a form using the wizard
I choose tblFN – FN and tblPN - PN
The form has a family name on top and a sub form for multiple names
And this is where the problem starts
When I try to add PN to the subform I get the 3164 error
Checking the tbls I can see that both tblPN and tblFN update but tblFNPN connecting the 2 does not

    Thank you for your help
    Ohad

Also srry for any spelling mistakes I'm not a native speaker

    Ohad,

As a self proclaimed "noob", you might want to start with this tutorial. It will help you with table design and relationships.

    Good luck.
