As the subject line details, I am an access noob and apologise now if my questions are to simple for this forum.
I have been reading about update queries and wondering if I can get some help.
I have started to create a database to log a gap analysis for our audit department rather than having it in excelWhat I am looking to do is as follows:
Main form shows information from table (i have used bound boxes to display this) however I have also written a search query to enable users to search for specific criteria.
What I want is when the search function is used it updates the form currently in view rather than opening a new one... is this possible? Can anybody please advise the steps to follow to make this work please.
