    Please help noob question.

    Please help noob question.
I'm new to access and really don't have the time to learn it. I've looked at some tutorials, but I just cant get it. My company uses excel to search a 3000 part database, I want to use access. I need a read only form, that I enter the part number and the remaining field are auto populated. The table does contain duplicates with different locations.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated,
    Deano

The ComboBox wizard can do that for you by selecting Option #3 when creating the cbo.

That means your form does not have a RecordSource. You need to set one for what you want to display.
