Connecting input masks to your forms

    Hi,

I am creating a form with the data from my table. Created my form with form design. Had it all set up and ready to go but my input masks didn't follow through. I've looked at other databases I've made two years ago and they still work with the input masks. I think i may have missed a step. Can you help? I am trying to get back to building databases and i'm a bit rusty. Working on a project for work and I just wasted two hours trying to figure this out. Thanks

Not understanding what you mean by 'didn't follow through'. You have input mask set up in table properties? Did you create form with wizard or create controls on form by dragging from the field list? Controls should then adopt properties from the table.

I have the input mask set up in the table properties. I created the form with Form Design and input the field name in the text box, but when I tried using the form the input mask was not there. I just created a form using the wizard and it's working fine, but there are some detail issues with the wizard that i right now i am having problems fixing. Since i'm starting from scratch again with a foggy memory and some old notebooks, i can only remember how to set up the fields in the forms but the format doesn't follow with it. Is there a better way at working on this? What am i missing when i work from form design? Thank you for your help.

I don't set properties in tables and I don't use the wizards. The table properties are adopted if you use wizard to create form or drag a field from the field list onto existing form.
