    inserting records into word from access


    Hi guys,
    I have a data set in MS access, i need to insert a record that i select from ms access to a word document, i tried mail merge function but it doesn't have the provision to select records from the data set. So can someone please tell me how to do it? It's really important! i would really appreciate the help.

    I've never used mail merge but seems should be able to use a query filtered to the single record desired.
