    Question Chart problem

    Hi all,

I have designed a chart that shows a value range. In design mode it shows what I want, but as soon as it goes to report mode it changed (as per attached pic)

Can anyone tell me how to get the report to show the same as the design view.

    Thank you.

    • Open the Chart Source Data in Datasheet View.
    • Click and drag down to select all the rows of records.
    • Right-click and select Copy
    • Open the Report with the chart object in Design View.
    • Double-click on the Chart control to change it to edit mode. You will see a data grid opens up.
    • Click on the left top corner (in the intersection of rows and columns) to select the grid.
    • Right-Click and select Paste to paste the data copied from the datasheet.
    • Save the Report and open it in normal view.
    • Try changing some value in the datasheet and check that change reflects on the Chart.

It looks to me like your report is getting confused about it's data source so you're getting inconsistent results. Is it possible for you to create a sample with no privacy information that can replicate this problem. If you can could you post it here for review.
