    Table Structure

    I have had some difficulty with my database in terms of calculations and as I understand it stems from the table design. The endgoal is that users should be able to view all the data that has been entered and be able to observe trends. This is the background info:



    -There are many samples, collected from assorted locations over different years (several samples may be collected from the same location)
    -Each location has several measured physical characteristics associated with it along with developmental data
    -Each of the samples are individually assessed for counts of 119 different bug species (I'm in the process of redesigning this portion)
    -Chemistry data (PH, phosphorous, nitrogen, etc) is collected at each of the locations only once a year

    I have attached a sample of the database that currently exists. I have not created any forms yet but there some queries and modules. I was wondering if someone could help me out with my table layout? (I am in the process of redesigning the bug data table)
