    Test upload

Just a test upload of a zip file to see if it can be download successfully and not reported as corrupted.

    Nope, still an issue.

7Zip tells me it's not an archive.

Hmm, I can open that file on my computer, but downloading it again, it comes up corrupt.

Files have been fine up until yesterday?

OK, it is the errant LF in the first line. Remove that and the file opens OK. I compared the downloaded zipfile to the one on my computer.

I made some changes to fight the attacks yesterday, it seemed to have affected the upload. Anyway, I have reverted the changes, please try uploading again.

Thousands of spam visits poured in immediately after I reverted the changes, why are the spammers so obsessed with this forum?

Besides the zip file problem, have you had any other problems?

The attacks are serious and persistent, there are over 40K online guests right now, I think I need to re-apply the changes.

Well jojowhite mentioned images, but not sure if he just meant pasting direct to post.
At least we know a workaround for the zip files.

Please let us know when you have made the changes and I will test again.

Edit: OK, site was down for a short while. I am assuming changes have been made?. I uploaded and downloaded the attached file, which still opens as a zip file.

Now I'm using Cloudfare to fight the attacks, zip files won't be affected any more. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

We (or at least I) appreciate the quick response.
Another site uses that and I was going to suggest that, but their Cloudfare comes up with an intervening page now and again.
Here, I would have never known.

If anyone sees excessive human verification prompts (which are ideally only shown to suspicious traffic), please let me know.
