image on a one to many form

does it allow you to download?

    hi,
i created a database that a vet could use to show my students but it didn't quite work as i expected.
i have an owners table and pets table and they are linked via a 1 to many relationship.
then i created a clients form by selecting the owners table and Create / Form. The owners and the pets table appeared on the form. good.

it worked well but when i added an image attachment in the pets table to enable the vet to include a picture of the pet on the client form, it didn't work as expected. i added the image to my clients form by selecting the pet image field and adding it to my clients form.
I want to be able to see each pet of an owner as i click on the pets record on a single client form.
instead, if an owner has two pets, access puts image 1 on a form and then creates a new clients form to display image 2.

anyway, a bit tricky to explain.
    thanks,

    david.

Suggest you take a copy of your db, remove sensitive data and forms/reports/tables not relevant to your question, then compact, zip and upload (go to advanced tab to do this)

    Hi
    The file downloaded ok.
    I have attached here.
The attachment field works as it should but it is recommended that you do not use attachments as they tend to bloat the database.
