Can anyone confirm if MS Access is EOL in 2025?

    Hi All

Before I send any posts for help, I keep reading that Access is going away. I don't want to begin to use it if in fact it is coming to EOL. Can anyone confirm?

Pretty sure we've been hearing that since forever. And so far, it's still here. I think it's nonsense.

Highly unlikely as they are still developing it, albeit very slowly:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/micr...filters=Access
    DLookup Syntax and others http://access.mvps.org/access/general/gen0018.htm
Please use the star below the post to say thanks if we have helped !

I had one of my clients tell me that their business coach told them that Access was coming to EOL. I think that the coach read that a version of Access was coming to end of life. The coach probably read that Office 2016 was coming to end of support October 14, 2025 and misinterpreted it. I have one recently new old client that runs a dental practice system running in Access 97.

I don't think Microsoft will drop Access in the coming years. It is a great rapid development tool for small businesses, but becoming more a niche market as it has no web development possibilities. Nowadays most people prefer small apps on their smartphone instead of an app you have to install on the laptop or computer.
