    opened database is not visible

    1. On some occasions when I open mdb file ldb file appears, however the database itself is not visible. So far, to solve this situation I need to restart PC.
    2. Also it is not clear how works shift+open mdb file.

    1) if you see ldb file, then Access has opened. If it's not obvious, go to Task manager to check (ctrl+shft+esc windows 10) and look at the running processes and applications.
    2) Shift+open can stop code/autoexec macro or startup form from loading/executing. If none of those conditions exist then it will have no effect. It is also possible to disable/enable the ability to use shift-open option.

Thank you for explanation, however, I was looking also for action to solve the problem. What I have found: in Task manager it is possible to end access, and by this to remove ldb file.
Also I have found that if the tables are not visible in open database, one can press F11 to show navigation pane.
