Newb Access user. Possible to view/enter multiple records to a related table from a form. FM Portal?

Hello, I am a new Access user with some experience using Filemaker. However my current company only has Access.

I need to create an issue tracking database for an entertainment venue.. The DB will have the tables : tblShows; tblShowElements; tblShowIssues. One of the outputs being a "Show Report" who's purpose is to essentially log/distribute info for any operational issues or problems with technical equipment.

i'd like to create a UI (form) where the user when logging a show can select multiple items from tblShowElements and add a "issue" to the related tblShowIssues. In filemaker this would be done using a "portal" does Access have any similar feature ?

apologies if this is a basic feature.. my goodgle fu has been week trying to solve this as I must not be asking the right questions.

What Filemaker calls a "portal", in Access is a subform. So Google topic "Access form/subform".
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
