Access Message: Could not use 'P:\database\Inventory_BackEnd.accdb'; file already in use

    Hi,

I have different databases that have a backend and a front end with multiple users accessing the database. For some reason, three different programs are now getting the message Could not use 'Q:\Scheduling\Scheduling_BackEnd.accdb'; file already in use.

This is happening to both full versions of Access 2016 and also computers that have run-time version.

These three databases are completely different and not associated with each other which leads me to believe it might be an update.

I hope someone can help me?

    Thanks,
    Xavier Ramirez

Microsoft did updates and broke access. You must uninstall the update.

There is a new bug running around, Microsoft already has an update:
