Echo - True or False ?

Hello! When I open my database from an icon on my desktop, the TitleF form opens. But there is a hint of the Navigation pane in the process. I have put Echo False in Form Open - but it does not work. Where else can I locate Echo False to stop this hint of the Navigation pane? Or is there another solution? Thanks!!

I was not even aware of "Echo False" setting. I have Navigation Pane set to not display when db opens and I don't get a hint of it at all.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thanks, but I need the Navigation pane to b available as I am still building the database and I use it very often.

I have the same problem with Warnings. It works on 4 macros but not on the 5th! The 5th is a copy of one of the others with a different document name etc!

Then I don't understand what you mean by 'hint of the Navigation pane'.

Hold down shift key when opening db and most non-default option settings will be ignored.

I don't use macros, only VBA.

The "hint" is that a line from, I think, the Navigation pane appears before the form is open. It is distracting and does not look professional. When the form is opened from a different form, there is no hint. Only on opening. I hope that help.

When you distribute your DB, you will normally hide the Nav panel, so I would not worry about it?
