I'm a long time programmer of several other languages, but a newbie to MS Access 2019. I'm on Windows 10.
I'm creating a form, and it's lined up nice in Design View, but when I switch to Form View, it's not the same.

Maybe some of the controls belong to a group and some don't? Not sure if you can select all, right click and select Layout > Remove Layout if some are part of a layout and some are not. If you select a control and a handle appears at the top left of the leftmost control you've selected, then you found a group that is part of a layout. That's the only thing that comes to my mind at the moment. You could also try "Layout View" and see if moving them around helps. Again, to align so many controls like that, I find it easier to dispense with the layout grouping. I've yet to experience a situation where a layout is not a pain in the patookis.

I figured it out. I compared properties to a control that was in the right place to one that was in the wrong place in Form View, and found the Horizontal and Vertical Anchors were set different. So once I got them all set the same, it lines up perfectly. Phew! Thankfully, I regained a little of my confidence as a programmer able to figure it out. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
