    Update 1 field from a table to another table

    Hi Guys;


    I have 2 tables "Shot" and "Diedata", they both have a field called "Total_Shots"

    How can i update all the data in the field from "Shot" to the field in "Diedata"

    I want to do this when i click a button, i was sort of thinking of
    DoCmd.RunSQL but i cant get my head around what next

    I would recommend using an Update query.
