Hi All, Firstly I'm completely new to Access. I have Access 2007? but looking at upgrading to Office 365 in the next couple of weeks.
I’m a maintenance engineer and to try and help myself, I am looking at trying to implement a records database.
My idea is to have some sort of records sheet that states the equipment (Eg a car), what tasks need doing (Oil check, Lights check, Service, MOT, etc) and then select the required interval time for each task. Along with a Notes box etc.
Following this, be able to input a date of when each task was completed (and by who?), and based on the interval time given, provide the next date?
On opening the program, highlighting tasks that are overdue or require doing soonest.
Is this possible by Access? If so, is it relatively easy for a complete dummy to do? Or should I be looking at a company to create such a thing?
