    Smile Oracle ODBC Problems

Ran into a problem the other day when linking Oracle Tables to Access. The symptom is - I can select one table and click finish - and the process starts linking other tables that I have not tried to link. To be honest - there are probably 5000 tables available when doing the link - and the table I am selecting is one of the last 100 - but the link table wizard starts linking in about the middle of the table list - and will keep going. Everything works fine in Access 2007 - but not in Access 2003. Any ideas of what can be causing this. Access 2003 is patched to SP3. I have tried different Oracle ODBC clients - 9, 10 and 11 and the issue occurs. Any further ideas?

    Hi,

probably you already tried, but if not: try first clicking the button "deselect all" before selecting the table you want.

    greetings
