keep a table or query updated with file names from a specific folder

I have a database for products where I want to have an image field with a drop down that is tied to filenames in a specific folder. I add images to that folder outside of Access. What would be a good way to keep that drop down accurate and how would I go about refreshing the drop down list each time I add more images to the folder? Any specifics on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

?? How many images per Product? What exactly is in the dropdown?
Can you mock up a picture of your proposed form?
    How are images named?
Are all images in the folder related Products in your table?

You may get some ideas from this article and/or this thread.

As of right now the structure is up in the air. I've looked at a one-to-many relationship between the product and then multiple images, as well as just having three fixed image fields for up to three images. I mainly just want the file names stored in a table or queried for so that my drop down is limited to only file names that actually exist in the image folder. Some products will use the same images as each other for products that have little to no discernible visual difference.

All images have underscores between numbers and letters. There is no white space in the file names, if that matters.

Also, the file names do not share any nomenclature with the product name, nor do they need to.
