    Command Problem

Hi Guy's we have had a new PC fitted and copied over a front end version of the database and quite a few options wont work ie: commands

I have checked the the commands are there and they are, is there something else in the reference library that would do this ?

It won't add a new record as if some or possibly more commands aren't reacting at all ?

    Any Ideas ??

    Much appreciated

I have just tried to check Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library and it says error in loading DLL ???

I have total different databse front end on the new machine and the DAO 3.6 library is checked on that one!

Another error I have just found is Dim fd as FileDialog Compile error, user definded type not defined ?

You wouldn't need (or want) the DAO reference checked in an accdb. It was required with v2000 to 2003 I think, included in the Access library now I believe. What specific errors are you getting, and what is the code?

Oh, I think the reference you want is the "Microsoft Office xx.x Access database engine object library".

I would expect the DAO 3.6 library checked in an mdb or in Access 2000-2003.
