    Let me first apologize.....

I am way over my head with Access. I need to build a database that is tracking a vessel build. Main page has hyperlinks to Part 1 through to 9. Each with their own category. However, we need to be able to create a search line that our client can enter (Cummings) and anything to do with Cummings will come up. Or Plumbing, Bridge and so on.

However, like I said, more than willing to learn but no clue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I note this is your first post in this forum. Welcome.
Is this proposed database your first database?
See the Database Planning and Design link in my signature for lots of info that could be helpful to you.

As far as the search for a field value anywhere in the database, see my sample database here.

    Good luck.
