Using a Web Page to transfer user data to MS Access database

    Hi All,

I have a requirement to transfer scan data on a form to a backend database. Now I designed a form and it works just fine.

However, I have a Wireless Symbol scanner MC32N0 that needs to be used to scan that data instead of a wired Symbol LS2208.

So I tried using Remote Desktop on the wireless scanner to remote into the PC that has the access database and double-click the Access icon but it returns an error that the screen resolution is not 640x480 and closes the application.

I thought a good way out is to bring up Internet Explorer on the scanner and have it scan from a web form. I cannot find any details on how to achieve this. Can someone help me find the right resources / details? I cannot afford to pay for an app integrator and am ready to code it my self but I want to know how.

    Regards,
    Rick

I don't think I've ever encountered a resolution error in remote desktop, it would seem to me you should able to resolve this problem within the remote desktop options, particularly on the 'display' tab of the remote desktop connection menu. Either that or make the resolution of your local machine the same as the remote machine and see if you can resolve it that way.
