    Combo Box on Form

I added a combo box to my form (which links to another table in my database. When I go back to layout view, essentially all the fields are frozen - meaning I cannot edit any of the fields. Any suggestions for what I could have done wrong? I created this combo box based on one I have used in the past (that works perfectly) I compared all the form properties between the working form and the new one that I'm working on and can't find a difference. The easiest thing, I guess would be to figure out exactly how I created the combo box on the form that is working - is there any way to retrace my steps?

    don't use layout view.
All users use the normal view.
combo boxes can pull data from 1 table and save to the form field.

Data cannot be edited in LayoutView. I always disable LayoutView. Never found it useful, just annoying. It allows you to modify design with WYSIWYG display.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
