One solution for others has been: File/Options/Current Database/Navigation Options{button}/ De-select the "Show Search Bar".
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

actualy have a sharing access database
what does this mean? is the database split? does each user have their own copy of the front end?
