    Changes will not save

I have Office 2016 and when I make a change to a report caption or edit any label text and go to save nothing happens and the changes are not saved. I get no error codes or pop-up windows. However, if I change the report from macro to VBA I can make the change.

I am not a on LAN, just desktop.

    Thanks!

You are in Report Design mode and change a caption, correct? Do you get an option to Save changes?
    This is an accdb file?

Yes, design mode, save option pops up and when I click yes, the popup goes away but nothing saves. It is a accdb file.

I did noticed a feature that converts macros to VBA and when I did that I was able to make the change and save with no problems. I really don't want to use VBA since the DB will be placed on a Network and it can become corrupt due to network lag.
