Student names in combo box drop down go away if a name has already been selected in another box.

    Hello,
What I am trying to do is this...I have a simple table comprised of nothing but student names, and a form with labeled combo boxes representing different jobs that I want to assign to my students. What I am trying to do is, as I select a student's name from a combo box, how can I show that student's named removed from the list in subsequent combo boxes so I can be sure I'm not assigning the same student to two different jobs?

Can this be done, and is Access even the best tool to use for something like this? Thanks.

    Conceptually the same as:

except your SQL will be <> instead of =.
