How to make a description visible in a form text box and then disappear when you type in the box? I would like to be able to put descriptions of the different types of data that I want in various text boxes in a form, but have that information disappear when text is entered in order to keep the data entry interface from appearing cluttered.

Here's a working DB with a form that shows how.
The text to be displayed is put in the control's format property.
As shown, if the field is to contain a date, the format must be reset in the form_current event to a value compatible with the date data type.

Enter a new record to see the action.
