ID:	35337Hi everyone, I have an issue with Access and I hope you could help.Well, the thing is;I have a few tables which contains the row "Lectures".These contain small numbers like 1 2,4 etc and they sum up to 73.Then in the second table these numbers sum up to 86.What I am trying to here is get the sums and combine them in a table. My end result should look like the one attached.(Basically I have put those numbers by hand, but I want them to be automated and changing when the 1,2,4 change).I hope I have explained my problem successfully.

    Append query.
make a query to sum the values, then set it to append to target table.

Why save aggregate data? If you can get query to show the data, just use query for reporting. Saving aggregate data is usually not necessary and potentially dangerous.

Why multiple tables with same kind of data?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
