Creating a report using specific drop downs as the source

I am new at access and it seems like there has to be a way to do what I am attempting.

I am trying to generate a report that would pull down a list of fields based on a selection in a drop down list.

    More specifically:

I have a drop down list of customers. Once a customer is chosen I need a list of fields to generate based on the customer selection (price, qty, rev, etc..)

I know how to set up tables but what is the best way to produce what I am looking for?
    Thank you in advance!

Different customers have different fields? It's common to filter on customer, uncommon for the report to have different fields based on customer.

This kind of fits what you're describing but it's an unusual way to use it.
