I want to launch an Access app with PS/2 function key..... how?

I want to launch an Access app with PS/2 function key. Anyone know how to do that?

(I realize this might be more of a Win 10 question but you guys are 100 times smarter than Win support )

Wow, I haven't used a keyboard like that since IBM days in the late 80's. Do you have the documentation re programming function keys? If not, maybe
    http://xkeys.com/assets/manuals/manxkps2.pdf

You would have to work out the entire keypress sequence first & write it down. Forgetting the sequence during setup is a pain.
Does yours have a Windows key? Then W+R, run dialog should open with all text highlighted. Enter the path to the db and press Enter and what was there should be over-written.

No W key? Ctlr+Esc+R. Start typing and you may see the path being entered into the search dialog. This may be pc model dependent. I was able to start Access by typing MSACCESS.EXE on HP laptop.

That's all I can come up with for where to enter the db file path when programming the function key.

I have a cherished IBM Model M keyboard that I protect with my life

Win 10 provides some functionality to assign actions to keys on a Microsoft Keyboard but not "standard PS/2" boards. I found an app, WinHotKey, that runs in the system tray and allows the app launch via a function key. I'll hang with that for a bit and see if I encounter any conflicts.

    Thanks,
    Bill
