quick search by name in a specific field similat to Windows Explorer

I have an Access form, the first field of which is a customer name (actually a calculated field for [LastName], [FirstName]). There are close to 4,000 records. I would like to be able to get directly to, or close to, a specific customer without having to scroll down the list, but rather type in a few letters of a last name and have the form automatically scroll to that name or area of the name list. Similar to working in Windows Explorer to quickly search through a long list of folders or files. Is that possible in Access? The "search" box that's standard at the bottom of the form looks for the thread anywhere in the entire database, not just the last name.

Yes- its a fairly standard feature in access databases
Have a look at this example on allen Browne's website: http://allenbrowne.com/AppFindAsUType.html
