The vallue you entered isn't valid for this field

    Dear All,

I have a small software which is used by several users.
since last week, a new PC was available , but the user using the new PC obtain the attach error when inserting a date in a textbox
Note that this textbox is formatted as date and all the other users are using the same software without popping the attached error
Can you please help me how to overcome this issue, may be there is something to be formatted in the new PC

    Thanking you

Try entering date such as 11/03/2018. Is that accepted? Repeat with 13/03/2018. Not accepted?

If so, the date settings on that computer are set to US default of mm/dd/yyyy. Change to your regional settings of dd/mm/yyyy.

Btw dates like 11/03/2018 would be ok as this is interpreted as 3 Nov 2018

Excellent. A common issue for those of us not living in the USA.
However, you need to be aware that dates used in SQL code need to be modified to mm/dd/yyyy format.
It's a tricky issue that causes a lot of grief
