I am attempting to do a "standard" mail merge in Access 2013 to Word 2013. If I click the query in Access, and click on External Data - Word Merge - Link to an existing - then select the word document I want to open, word opens with the error message
"Error has occurred: the database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'Name' that prevents it from being opened or locked.

WHat do I need to do so that I can generate this mail merge?
