Setting up a database for multiple users on one liscense

Hello all! This is my first time posting.

I have built an access database for use at my work, I would like multiple users to be able to use the forms on my database to fill out information. I have been reading about how to set this up through our local network (see this Office Support article) but I cant seem to find an answer to my question.

Am I able to set up this database to be used by multiple users with only one license? Or does each user need a downloaded version of access on their computer to use it?

I am new to access and appreciate any help that you all can offer!

    Thank you,

Each user needs Access on their computer, but there is a free runtime version available from Microsoft. It has no design capability, but can run an application. Most of my users have the runtime version.

Also, the license states how many users are allowed - the higher the cost, the more users.
