Access 2010 front end 7960 Error

We are installing two new desktops on our network that need Access 2010 installed on each to access the network Access database. These two laptops are running Windows 10 and when we try to open the database they get a 7960 error and an error saying there was an error compiling this function. The visual basic contains a syntax error. Check the code and re-compile it.
The network location where the database is has been added to the trusted locations.


All other workstations can access the Access database without an issue. These two new workstations have Access 64 bit.

What about the existing laptops/computers--are they 32 bit or 64 bit Access/Office?
Can you tell readers more about your database, network and users?

Hi Kevind04. You cannot use 32 bit databases with MS Office 64 bit. You will get compile errors as the 64bit declare statements use the PtrSafe attribute. Have a look at the link below:

You should uninstall the 64 bit Office and install the 32 bit one (the fact that the operating system is 64 bit is irrelevant).
