Hi,
I have a problem that is driving me absolutely insane. I've built an access application that runs on Windows Server 2016 through a remote desktop.
The application is launched with Access runtime 2016. The problem is when the application is launched, access runtime hangs for around 10-20 seconds on the grey workspace screen before it decides to load up the application. It appears to be nothing to do with the application itself - I created a blank database with a single form and textbox and got exactly the same result.
When it hangs it doesn't appear to be doing anything (CPU usage etc is 0%). When it does eventually load the performance is completely fine with no issues whatsoever.
What's even more strange is it wasn't doing this about a week back! A week back it was loading instantly. It must be a server setting but I can't think of anything that has changed. I've tried re-installing runtime, including different versions but no luck! I've searched extensively but can't seem to find a solution to the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Luke
