Copy and Paste from one form to another failed

When I imported a form and its subform (that I knew were working into my current db) to replace a malfunctioning form and its subform everything seemed fine. I tried to open frmAtteendance, and I got some error concerning the record source of the form being nonexistent.

That seemed easy enough to fix. I opened the form in design view and checked out the record source. To my great surprise it is blank! I do not even have a record source!

I am confused. This was simple copy and paste from one db (old) to another db(new). That was done to just get the frmAttendance working in the newer db. It did not seem to work however, and there should have been no problem.

    What is the problem here?

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed

I got part of this. The record source that they are referring to in the error is not in frmAttendance. it is in sfrmAttendance. Well that make sense. But why does frmAttendance have no record source?

    That is the question now.

I just need this question answered now.

    Respectfully,

    Lou Reed
