wor document disappears

Hello. I have 2 end users that have a database created in access. When ever they open a word document that has be imported into the database and copy a line from the word doc, when they close the word doc it disappears from the database. Weird is it doesnt do this everytiime. Any ideas?

typically - Word documents do not import in Access databases. So your understanding or description of what is occurring probably is not correct.

One can, of course, using generic windows capabilities - simultaneously have a Word doc and Access open (in separate windows) and copy/paste info from one to the other.
