    Question Perplexing Make Table error

I have a series of queries that run and one of them is a make table. I just recently started getting this error message and I do not know why. I have checked everywhere I know to check. I have attached a screen shot of the two messages to the thread. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    The error messages say:
"Cannot Open database 'ColumnWidth'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt."

    and

"Cannot open database "QryCMRMo03". It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt."

I have tried re-constructing the Query but that does not seem to work.

    Hi
I get the same error when using the wizard to append data to an existing file:
"Cannot open database ". It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

    Solution to my problem:
I deleted the existing table, then recreated it as before, and then appended successfully - all using the same input data files!
    Indeed perplexing.

Wow, this was from a while ago! My problem was actually size. I had reached the 2GB threshold and hadn't realized it. Once I pared down my DB and did a compact and repair the error went away. Thanks for your input Bosman.
