Help needed with a very basic form design problem I have encountered in Access 16

Hi I have always done my development in Access 2002/3 so am finding it difficult to get to terms with some basic form design under Access 16. Under the older version(s) it was easy to size a form to match the content. One just clicked on the boundaries in design mode and dragged them. It was also possible to adjust the boundaries in form mode and save them. I'm finding this impossible under Access 16. It's probably something simple I am missing but just can't work it out. Consequently I am left with all forms the same size with loads of blank space and it looks horrible. Can anyone hep please?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place. Please move if appropriate. I have changed my profile to reflect change of Windows and Access versions. Presumably will be reflected in future posts

    PS Yep

I have A2013 not A2016 but would suggest that you click on <FILE> then select <Options> then <Current Database>. Select "Overlapping Windows" and save
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Thanks Bob. That's sorted but I now have a horrible looking white background (behind the forms) and don't seem to be able to change it. I don't think I have been so frustrated as trying to work with Access 2016. Why on earth couldn't they just leave it as it was plus any improvements. I can't present screens like this to anyone. I'd be too ashamed. Hope it's just me being thick

Cheers davegri, I have joined that forum and have raised the white background problem there. I've Googled it as well and there seems to be no solution. Well done MS
