Form write conflict

Hello,

in a form I have a combinationfield. If I select a certain value from this field another form (popup) will open where I can enter more detailed information. If I save the information from the form and go back to the original form I get the message write conflict.
If I enter in the combination field setting thst the data should not be saved in any table etc. I will not get a wrtie conflict and it works. But I need to save the values from the combination field. Does somebdy has an idea how to solve this issue?

You can try forcing a save of the original form's data before opening the popup.

If Me.Dirty Then Me.Dirty = False
