import delimited - adding random fields

Hi all, first time posting here.

I'm trying to import a text file but when I do, the importer decides to add Field34 and Field 35 after my last field. I tried importing the file into excel to see if there was straggling data after column 33 but there is no data after column 33. Does anyone have any idea why Access importer is doing this? For reference, the table that I'm importing into only has 33 fields.

    Thanks!

The specification determines the number of fields. You can elect to skip the last two.

Weird that, that worked. Could've sworn it failed when I tried to create an import spec. Thanks for the help aytee111!
