Is it possible to use a webpage to add records to your database?

    Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to create a web interface for users to add records to the database instead of having to send out frontends to everyone? I have been searching around the net and have found that you can display data to a webpage, but I want to be able to add records as well as view them from a web page.

    Thanks,
    Will

Please tell us what you are trying to accomplish with an example.

Is this a single database set up?

How would a web page connect to your database?
If you have a database in location A, and users in locations A,b,c...z, how would the database get updated from locations b,c,...z? Can you give us a scenario or 2 as you envision the set up working?

    Good luck.

    Hello,
What I am trying to accomplish is we have employee's who submit personnel actions and it is my job to track them. Currently they send an email in a random format, and not always to me and I just want to be able to eliminate that. I have no idea how to connect the database to a webpage, and my searches have not returned anything so I figured this is the best place to ask if its possible I figured if you can link a database to display data to a website, why cant you input data from a website. I am not sure what you mean by a "single DB", but I currently have a DB created that I use to track the personnel actions and I was planning on just adjusting that since I already have all the records entered ect. The locations could be anywhere in the country it would be used. I was planning on putting it on our intranet so it would just be accessible on our local network.
My end goal is to have them to be able to enter in the data into predesigned fields w/o me having to send out frontends to everyone, that is a hassle I do not want to deal with since most people seem to have trouble just sending an email let alone trying to use access.. I was experimenting with the mail option in Access, but I seen that they took that out in 2013's version so I stopped trying to get that to work since we were told that we will be updating soon to 2013.
hopefully that helps give an idea of what I am looking to do, hopefully it is possible... but if not ill just keep doing it the way we are now.
