Navigate hard disk documents through access form

    Dear Gents,
In my organization they need to make a library that holds all the sample projects to be guide for the employees, This library contains many different kind of file formats ( docx,xlxs,cad,pdf...etc) .
I want to make it as a database so that to be easy for them to access the library and also organized .. I need to map the library primary folder to the access form so that they can navigate through files.

That is called the File Explorer....
Paste this code into a module, and it will open ANY file in its native application.

    usage: OpenNativeApp "c:\folder\file.pdf"
    will open it in acrobat
    and
    OpenNativeApp ME.txtBox
will open the doc in Word if the item in txtBox is C:\myfile.doc

if its just a file path, it will open in file explorer.

    Code:
    'Attribute VB_Name = "modNativeApp"
    'Option Compare Database
    Option Explicit

Private Declare Function ShellExecute Lib "shell32.dll" Alias "ShellExecuteA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpszOp As String, ByVal lpszFile As String, ByVal lpszParams As String, ByVal lpszDir As String, ByVal FsShowCmd As Long) As Long
