Problem wth form header/footer

I want to add a header to a continuous form. I want the a button in the header and the detail section will be continuous. I right clicked the form and selected header/footer. It appeared in the design view. When I added the button and ran the form, the header did not appear. I'm not sure why it won't come out when I run the form. Any thoughts?

Is the form being opened in datasheet view? You want continuous, not datasheet.

Glad you got it solved. Posting your solution could help somebody later. Did you have the page instead of form header?

Solution was an oversight. I mixed up page header/footer with form header/footer. Once I used form header/footer, it worked like it should.
