Weird Access Bug?

Hey Everyone,



Hopefully someone else has had this problem and knows what is going on. Any time I try to build a query, when I go to put something in the "Criteria" section and start with "[E" (trying to do [Enter an ID:]), Access shuts down with no reason for the the issue. It just gives me the option to send the error off to Microsoft. It can be any other table, any other field, and any other letter, but when it is "[E" it shuts down...any ideas?

Edit: I've now found out it's any time I type "[E" and Access tries to bring up a list of objects that begin with 'E'

I don't really follow your post but you can easily change your prompt to [Please Enter an ID] and avoid your issue.
